Hi! .. Readers new or old and welcome to the CRYPT 24 (Alien Encounters). Well it has been a busy couple of months, But once again the Team has delivered the goods and we have (Hopefully) once again presented you with an Action packed edition, that will keep you entertained for some time.
Some good news this Issue is the Return of a Long time Friend and supporter .. Steve Hyde. Regular readers of the CRYPT will certainly recognise the name, and remember some of the highly humorous Articles that he has submitted in the Past. Of course Steve was one of the Original CRYPTteam (When it was an Amiga Disk Magazine), And we are all delighted that he has returned to the Fold :)
Perhaps a strange coincident, But also this Month I received a mail from Another old Friend, Someone who left the Amiga scene some three years ago .. And we lost touch.
In his mail he raised a couple of points about the New CRYPT magazine, That I thought I should share with you.
"I can understand why you have almost dropped Coverage of the AMIGA Platform"
Sorry? ... The CRYPT Magazine still supports the Amiga, It is a sad fact that the Amiga scene is now so small that finding sufficient material is difficult. In fact if the CRYPT produced only Amiga related articles, Well we would be producing a One paged Magazine.
"Nice to see you are covering the PC a lot more"
Yes we certainly are developing our coverage of the PC (Check out our latest Adverts for ComputOZ ..A PC & Games Console, Software supplier).
However we at the CRYPT recognise that Most Amiga Computer users, Have both platforms. However The CRYPThas never been a "Pure" Amiga Magazine ...We have always described it as a Magazine for Computer Users.
"Surprised to see Recipes and articles concerning Steam Trains in the Magazine"
As above, We try to produce a Magazine that contains material of Interest to Computer Users.
You cannot define a Computer Users as a Person who has ONLY an Interest in Computers ..Most of us have a range of other interests, We at RIYAN Productions try to cover some of these other interests, For example I know for a fact that we have several New readers who are enthusiasts of Steam railways and read the CRYPT because of our coverage of them.

Are the Aliens Coming? This issues theme "Alien Encounters" generated a great deal of Interest. Normally the Theme Page of the CRYPT is completed by myself, However on this occasion the Articles from Team Members arrived in Droves .. Obviously a Subject/Theme that stirred the Blood and beliefs .. Lets hope YOU the Readers find them as Interesting as we did.
