Caressed in golden sunlight.
The reddened sky of evening
As the sun begins to wane;
The clouds that filter fingered rays
Of grace through darkening plain.
Rainbows after summer storms,
The smell of fresh washed grassy lawn;
Autumn's brilliant splash of colour
And mountains in the dewy dawn.
Pleasant happy sounds of laughter
And memories of a tender kiss;
To hold your newborn baby child
There is no greater joy than this.
