Brandy or Whiskey Sauce



Ingredients:
1tablespoon Cornflour
1 tablespoon Sugar
½ pint (275ml) milk
½ oz (15g) Butter or Margarine (Vegetable Oil)
1-2 tablespoons whiskey or brandy


Method:
Blend the cornflour, sugar and a little milk in a bowl.
Bring remaining milk to the boil.
Pour over the cornflour mixture, stirring all the time and cook until thickened.
Stir in the margarine and spirits.
Serve hot.

Makes ½ pint(275ml) sauce

Serves 4-5
