Since I was just a wee small thing,
I've wondered at what life could bring,
My life I have spent on my own,
Practising skills that I then hone.

No callers take the time of day,
To talk to me, or even play,
You'd think life treats me terribly,
But on that point, I'll disagree.

The time has got to half past four,
And I am not sad any more,
I see my owner at the gate,
This isn't such a sad old fate!
