I`m sure we have all been faced with this problem when every now and then the mouse freezes up. You can have press the on button to turn the computer off but this can harm the system.
To safely shut down the computer press the Windows key. That is the key that has the Windows logo on it, usually found on the bottom right side of the keyboard. This will open the Start menu.
You can then use the up and right arrow keys to maneuver over to Turn Computer Off. When you are there, press the Enter key. Press Enter once again, and the computer will shut down completely.
A much safer option than hitting the power button!
