Hi there Readers and welcome as usual to The Crypt. As usual we at Riyan Productions try to bring you something New and Different each edition and to add new features based upon your comments. The feedback we received was that many of you are Steam Train enthusiasts and would like us to feature some articles on the subject.
So, your wish is our command and starting from the next edition (The Crypt 21 Christmas Edition) we will be launching a new page titled Steam Corner. Now before anyone thinks that this will be a boring page compiled by old farts collecting train numbers and wearing anoraks you couldn't be more wrong! If fact, as you the reader requested this new feature, it will be YOU that will be writing it.
Of course Riyan Productions will be giving you our full support and helping with the page too.
Steam Corner will indeed feature photographs of these mighty great Beasts of a bygone age (See Feature Pic) but the articles will contain interviews from people who drove, rode on, worked on and maintained these locomotives. There will be technical fact files too. There will also be stories of what it was like on the Railways of those days. Remember those where the days when the 10.05 came in at 10.05 and wasn't late or cancelled!
Steam Trains have tales of love and romance, war and espionage and tragedy and sorrow to tell and of course keeping with The Crypt tradition you can also expect to read about the Hauntings connected with the Great Age of Steam. Oh yes, trains have Ghosts too! We hope you all get something out of our new feature.
